This lovely and inspiring Elegant, Royal First Birthday Party was the perfect combination of fun and decor, giving a whole family and friend group a memory that would last. Styled by Suemee Hur of Created by Hur and photographed beautifully by Carmen Santorelli Photography no detail was left undone at this gathering.

The venue chosen for this Elegant, Royal First Birthday Party was spectacular, a large, spacious room with fantastic wooden detailing on the ceiling. Hanging from this ceiling an abundant display of chandeliers set the stage for a room of pure decadence. The guest tables were circular and arranged in rows to make it easy for everyone to move around the room as needed.  Each table had a gorgeous pastel cover that draped to the floor with lots of cute white chairs to sit on. The centerpieces were adorable arrangements of mini-flowers with the addition of sparkly silver stars and labels that matched numbering each one.

A small table was set up as decor that was covered in a matching cloth with an elegant sign framed in silver saying, “Amelia’s Royal Sweets.” To draw attention to this section a massive bouquet of colorful flowers was displayed as well as an adorable little wired coach. A matching table was set on the other side of the buffet, ensuring that the food area was a massive display of beauty.

The buffet table used was a rectangle and covered in a wonderful shiny cloth. These tables were actually set in front all sorts of large windows, bringing in the natural lighting and adding to the elegant style.  As a backdrop the birthday girl’s name was spelled out on a flag banner.  From the perfectly frosted cookies to the scrumptious cupcakes, there were enough tasty delights to impress the entire crowd. The cake was an impressive finishing touch to the table with sparkles and ribbons that stood out fantastically.

Bringing an adorable twist to a sweet classic, Party Pieces by Perry helped to create this fantastic Ariana in Onederland First Birthday Party. From top to bottom, the venue for this gathering was a blend of imagination and creativity that anyone could fall in love with.  

Giving a bigger is better arrangement to the dessert table, instead of one, two were used to display that range of treats and decor.  As a backdrop a mix of giant flowers was hung in varying tones to bring color and fun to the look.  

As with any good Alice in Wonderland themed party, the table had a fun lineup of unique chairs that added to the vintage feel of the event adding a dramatic touch to the treat tables.

The tables used were classic wooden styled which blended with the theme perfectly. Cute touches added included teaware like a teapot with cute little flowers filling it, a vintage clock, vintage phone and even an Alice doll, all of which ensured that the visitors would know the theme.

Treats made for this part were absolutely wonderful.  Little cupcakes frosted in white with little pearls on top looked quite yummy. Cookies on a wonderful white tray called out. There were even sugar cookies frosted with cute messages like “eat me” on them.

Two cakes stole the show with perfection, the biggest was front and center, placed on a wonderful stump looking cake tray. Each was detailed to look like they had a lock on it and made a stunning addition to the party.

Other fun bits added to the decor at this party included a backdrop that looked like a shrub that set the stage for all sorts of Alice characters like the mad hatter who was sitting on a toadstool.

Sweet Event Styling by Thanh brought the wonder of sea life to the surface with this marvelous Under the Sea First Birthday Adventure! A vast array of details were put together to give an aquatic effect to the treat table that was nothing short of amazing.

A backdrop was made with the underwater theme in fantastic aqua colors and artwork that really made it a centerpiece to the entire table.

Instead of using a standard cover for the table, Sweet Event Styling by Thanh took advantage of the sandy marbleized look and built an ocean on top so it looked like the bottom of the sea.

The use of flowers to give a natural aqua effect was pure brilliance.  Filling in all of the spaces with gorgeous arrangements of different types produced an abundant beauty that stood out perfectly.  Macaroons were made in green and pink, left open partway to look like clams and then they were piled on a tiered tray topped with a wonderful mermaid tail, ensuring that this treat doubled as a fantastic decoration.

The cake made for the party was phenomenal with two layers, the bottom one scalloped in fondant with varying tones to make it look just like a mermaid tail and the top had an adorable little bow.  It was set on a cake tray with brown sugar and candy shells making it look like a beach.  With Ariel and Prince Eric perched precisely in front of the cake, this treat was definitely a show-stopper.
