With a flair of detailing that created an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, Kate of Kiss Me Kate put together a Chanel Inspired Birthday Party to remember!

A smooth blend of black, white, pink, and silver was used to bring this event to life.

Each decoration and treat was adorned beautifully with jewels and jewelry in a way that added glamour that anyone could appreciate.  Perfectly decorated cupcakes were displayed on lovely mirrors, giving a fuller than full effect and a scattering of pretty jewels made it look very sheek. Each cupcake was frosted uniquely from the CC to patterned and flower-topped varieties. The labels for each treat were a vision of sophistication in black and white glitter that stood out boldly.

The dishes used to show off all of the snacks were magnificent, each one was a shimmering success. On mirrored square tray had personalized chocolate bars that look wonderful, set right next to a fantastic bottle of perfume and even a string of pearls.

A group of macaroons was spread on a lovely tiered tray with more fun perfume bottles and a vibrantly red bottle of lipstick that added color splendidly to the display.  Wonderful glass jars with a variety of tasty treats were spread around the table as well, with the smooth labels and fun splashes of black ribbon and jewels.  There were even cake pops each frosted in pink, black or white, embracing the color palette perfectly.

No Chanel party is complete without a spectacular cake, and this one was no acception.  The cake was two layers of decadence perfectly patterned and jeweled, so much so that it was almost sad to eat it all up! It was set on a lovely tray with an array of jewelry that emphasized the theme fantastically.

Invento Festa went all out on this lovely elegant 70th  Birthday Party.  Using a wonderful blend of black, white and a smidge of gold, the color base offered a sophisticated look that was certain to impress the guests.

The snack table was a modern-vintage mash-up that looked tres chic. With a backdrop of black and white vintage patterned damask fabric, the look was set. Right in front of the fabric, a gorgeous golden frame was centered to create a fantastic effect. The table used for the snacks was a pretty wood that didn’t need any cover to look perfect. The wooden detailing really drew the eye and in combination with the arrangement of food, it was a wonderful decorative and functional tool.

Each tray/plate/bowl used to display the food items was pure elegance. Ornate detailing and lovely shades of white and black ensured that each treat stood out individually as well as blending wonderfully as a whole. A gorgeous tea cup was set on a plate and a mirror, then filled with lovely flowers to create a decoration that added emphasis to the theme.  There was even a pretty set of pearls draped on the table, adding to the adorably vintage feel.

The treats were all delicious looking and very detailed. Cake pops were covered in white with little sticks and had gorgeous black patterns drawn on them. Macaroons were topped with cute little flowers for a bold effect. There were even sweet biscuits to enjoy.

Centered on the table, in the framed backdrop, the cake was three layers of divinity just waiting to be eaten up.  In an arrangement of black and white detailing, this cake added a sophisticated touch that really stole the show. It was even set on a tall black cake tray, adding a dramatic effect that was sure to stand out.

The Sugar Plum Sisters went all out on this 40th Birthday Bash, creating an event that everyone was certain to enjoy. They took advantage of the lovely outdoor weather to put together a fantastic venue full of lovely decor and entertainment.

A favorite little touch were the 40th birthday party coaster invites, personalized and bold in brown and orange colors. They had a rustic quality that was very fun.

To create a masculine vibe rustic qualities were incorporated throughout the venue to ensure that both the guys and gals could thoroughly enjoy the events. The tables were covered in fantastic burlap, and chalkboard cloth toppers that stood out remarkably.

For a neat unique touch, rather that using traditional dishware for the party, they used boxes for a one-of-a-kind alternative. They were large enough to hold all the tasty food and each had a personalized birthday label to incorporate the rustic charm.

To give the tables an additional touch of beauty, rustic troughs were filled with succulents and there were an array of lovely peonies in wonderful vases to finish it off.

Instead of regular chairs for each individual, a group cozy feeling was distributed throughout by using benches to sit on. It made it simple for moving around when needed.

Strands of fabulous globe lights were hung to bring a sweet illumination to the tented area, giving a warmth to the atmosphere that was definitely appreciated.

An adult activity set-up at this event was a beer-tasting, letting everyone try not only obscure ales but also well-known options.  The mugs used were a wonderful heavy glass stein that each guest got to take home as a gift at the end of the party. For those who didn’t want to try the beer station a fantastic mojito station was set up to give a taste of strawberry or classic flavoring.

A 40th birthday is a huge milestone that should be rung in with a big celebration and Brittany of GreyGrey Designs did just this, incorporating a fabulous Las Vegas casino theme into an unforgettable birthday party. Simple colors of black, white, and red were used imaginatively to create a party in the image of a Las Vegas casino, wowing guests and making the experience an absolutely unforgettable one.

The decorations were reminiscent of a Las Vegas night, and it felt as though the guests were walking into Caesar’s Palace itself. Streamers made out of playing cards were strung up along the venue, while bouquets of huge feathers sat atop tall candlesticks and vases. The main event table had a glossy black sheen with a shiny backdrop complete with hundreds of miniature images of casino game cards. The incredible birthday cake, however, was the highlight of the table, stacked up into three elaborate tiers complete with a big, white sugar fondant of “40”. The bottom two tiers were decorated in red and black shapes of cards like diamonds, and the top layer was extremely detailed, made up of two large red and white dice. A topper consisted of an edible replica of the “Welcome to Vegas” sign, but instead read the words “Welcome to Fabulous Beau’s 40th Birthday”.

Other treats that were equally as detailed and beautiful on the main table were red dice Jell-O molds pops, red and white Marshmallow pops topped with sprinkles, Dipped Oreos, and frosted sugar cookies in play card and chip designs. Savory fares included grilled chicken and caprese shish kabobs and all of the delicious food had its own personalized label made from a playing cards. Favors were an assortment of fun as well, with the guests taking home bar nuts in personalized party cans and decks of personalized casino cards. It truly was the perfect way to start a fantastic fortieth year.

Event stylist Samantha Dunne of Dunne with Style put together an incredible birthday party that showcased a fun circus theme complete with a brilliant array of bright colors and inglorious décor. The theme of Peach Mint Circus truly embodied the charisma of a birthday and the circus all in one, while highlighting joyful nostalgia.

The main event theme colors of peach and mint offered a crisp feel to the party, while individual flowers made of puffed peach and mint tulle added a whimsical touch as they were placed all over the venue. The main event table that housed the birthday cake and all the most fabulous sweets was absolutely gorgeous with a wondrous backdrop of oversized white paper pinwheels, and an elaborate circus sign welcoming guests to join in on enjoying the circus theme. The birthday cake itself was breathtaking, with two large tiers served on a mint ceramic cake platter. The top tier was all-white, with a topper of a bunched assortment of the mint tulle flowers and a golden elephant figurine. The bottom tier of the cake was really something special, with an ombre design of dark peach fading up into light peach.

Surrounding the cake were magnificently detailed treats, including a miniature mint colored cake with more gold elephant figurines on top, and delightful peach-colored cupcakes presented on handcrafted peach paper pinwheels. A distressed wood mail holder added the perfect chic accent to hold sugar cookies, and peach and mint candies, along with glass milk jars with miniature windmill straws. An apothecary jar full of mint-hued cotton candy and striped boxes full of warm popcorn were clever circus-motif additions, while jars filled with large mustache cake pops brought a timeless look to the table.

The party was tied together splendidly with peach and mint shaded circus flag banners, tassel garland, and a whole shelving bureau opened and full of lines of glass jars full of bright candy.

For Eloise’s 2nd birthday we wanted to take a fresh twist on a classic favourite so put a whimsical and pretty twist on the circus classic, because lets face it, when you have a 2 year old life is a bit like a circus.

Li-Ann from Ham & Pea Paperie took vintage circus animals and ‘prettied’ them up with the addition of frills and ruffles, we replaced the classic blue and red with the more feminine mint and peach and the tone was set.

Guests were greeted at the tickets booth adorned with vintage carnival tickets, ribbon wands and handmade pinwheels.

The dessert table had a carnival atmosphere with sweet treats including a pair of ombre ruffled cakes, cupcakes topped with mini macarons and cotton candy, chocolate coated oreos adorned with pinwheels. Custom designed sugar cookies to match the vintage circus animals from the backdrop and for the little gents, moustache cookies.

Guests filled up circus tent favour boxes with treats from the candy stand and went home laden with pinwheels, ribbon wands and hand painted gold circus animal figurines – over indulged just like a day at the carnival.
