Festive Fall Party

Autumn is the season for warmth and coziness, good food and crackling fun, and plenty of time well spent with family and friends. The Everyday Hostess recently achieved all this and more magic with her Festive Fall Party. Between burlap, hay bales, and pumpkins in orange, white, and gold, this event was beautiful and fully in the spirit of the fall season.

Of course, a huge punch container held delicious apple cider, and was surrounded by delightful caprese kabobs, delectable cupcakes in the seasonal theme, and creative grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters! The food table was set off by a soft burlap table runner and gorgeous, full centerpieces of flowers in yellows, magentas, and rich reds. There was a fantastic “potting station” in which guests got to use a hollowed out pumpkin and make their very own centerpieces with the gorgeous array of flowers, too. There was even a special, small-town twist on the décor, with napkins that read “Give Thanks, Y’all”, which paired perfectly with the adorable striped straws and other garland that excitedly greeted “Happy Fall!”

With decorations that were clean, crisp, and incredibly inviting, this Festive Fall Party was truly memorable in its look and feel. The space itself was cozy enough to bring everyone together to eat, laugh, craft, and truly celebrate the best season of the year.

Copper, Plaid and Fur Thanksgiving party

Copper, Plaid and Fur Thanksgiving party

Natalie of Fern & Maple Events put together a unique and fabulous party to welcome in the autumn holiday. Using copper, plaid, and fur specifically, a beautiful and one-of-a-kind aesthetic was created that really made this Thanksgiving soiree pop.

The food for the party was as delectable as you could imagine; from tarts to pumpkin pie to fun moonshine cocktails. The favors for guests were especially impressive, containing beautifully wrapped pumpkin loaves. And cocktails weren’t the only fun beverage at the event—a delicious hot chocolate bar was also set up with all the fixings you could imagine. The spread was set off with tartan tablecloths that paired perfectly with copper shakers, servingware, and even Moscow mule mugs. Gorgeousness was mixed with seasonal warmth in the form of soft, dark fur runners and chair throws.

The place settings and food labels themselves were a great design of plaid and visions of fall foliage, pairing splendidly with dinner spots decked out with crystal glassware, rustic copper candle holders, and sprigs of babies breath flowers and fresh rosemary tufts. A children’s table was all set up, complete with utensils, plates, lidded cups with straws, and goody bags. There were even placemats that also doubled as games for the children to play with their provided crayons and pencils!

Further accents for tables and other parts of the event space included shiny pumpkins, glittery pine cones, tiny acorns, copper feathers, and a gigantic, triangular hanging decoration crafted in shining metallic copper pieces. Garlands spelling out “Give Thanks” along with gold, copper, and ivory tassels really set off the color palate for the party. Recipe cards with s’mores recipes and a mirror with markers was set up for guests to write what they were most thankful for, really tying together the seasonal theme.

Modern Pumpkin Halloween Party

Modern-Pumpkin-Halloween-Invites

When it comes to fall and fall parties, we just love all of the fantastic colors that can be used together to create memorable themes! This Modern Pumpkin Halloween party is a perfect example of how the oranges and browns of the season can come together in sweet, fun harmony.

Event designer POMP wanted to make a party that was child friendly, so nothing too spooky while also incorporating healthy alternatives to traditional candy too, giving this gathering a unique take on Halloween fun. With all of the sweet details at this party, it could easily be used as a theme for a special kid whose birthday falls this time of year.

Adorable invitations set the tone of the event, in classic black and orange and a spooky font.  The artwork used on the invite was an adorable hanging spider, ensuring that the theme was self explanatory.

The range of decor throughout the home was fantastic, little black mice cut outs climbed to a waiting cutout hole on the staircase, bats were hung in 3-D fashion, giving a textured and cute look. Black cut out spiders were arranged in a climbing fashion going up the side of a table. Orange and white balloons made perfect room fillers with matching ribbons too.

Deliciously scary treats made this party really stand out from pumpkins made of peeled oranges and celery to the cupcakes with all sorts of adorable decorations on top like candy corn and ghosts.  All friendly looking to ensure that the kids were not scared.

The decor leading up to the front door was very Autumn-esk with piles of pumpkins on each side and bales of hay.  The wreath was a lovely naturally styled orange and brown bit of decor that fit the theme sweetly.

Playful and Spooky Pumpkin Halloween Party

Playful-And-Spooky-Pumpkin-Halloween-Party-Centerpiece

This Playful and Spooky Pumpkin Halloween Party can easily be a fun-filled theme for those who have a special day this time of year! With bold styling by Jennifer Perkins and gorgeous shot from Jennifer M. Ramos, this celebration was a sweetly scary event!

It is easy to fall in love with vintage decor used to give this party a special look. With fantastic framed art and bottles with faded writing, a scary mood was simple to set.

Other exciting bits of decor included a massive conglomeration of cheesecloth hung with paper lanterns and or adorable black and orange decorations to give the room a very Halloween vibe. The fireplace mantle was fantastically outfitted with black decorations that stood out against the neutral tones of the art displayed.  A bookshelf blended in with the Halloween, holding an array of fun spooky phrases in wood art. One favorite pieces was a large mirror with a ghostly image displayed in the reflection, giving an outstanding effect.

The living room was adorably covered in vintage style pillows  along with a fun range of candy baskets. Even the coffee table was used to hold a cute little pumpkin decoration.

To keep guests fed and happy the buffet table set up provided a perfect arrangement of spooky snacks to enjoy. A backdrop was created with cute little kitty and witch graphics along with a Halloween banner.  The treats all had a bit of theme blended too with owl cupcakes, finger shaped and eye ball cookies, and other deliciously scary edibles.  String cheese was cutely arranged on a plate with a mini pumpkin centerpiece and each piece even had a triangle of green pepper on the end, making it looking like little fingers.  Layered pudding treats were topped with tasty tombstones and green hands.  With so many adorable features, this spooky theme could definitely make for a unique birthday celebration too!

Spooky Witches Den Party

Spooky-Witches-Den-Party-Dessert-Table

With Halloween coming up, a Spooky Witches Den Party can make a fantastic theme for a special birthday party! This layout was gorgeously created by Monique with Bash Party Styling.  The finished dessert table looked like a scene from a scary movie, making it a perfect option for bringing your party to life.

A long buffet made a great stage for all of the eerie decor and tasty treats at this event.  Set in front of a window, curtains made a fantastic setting for the backdrop made.  Cheesecloth is a wonderful tool when it comes to spooky decorations, being a versatile and easy to use fabric.  The backdrop feature this fabric set in a spiral to mimic a spider web in fun fashion.  With spiders surrounding it, the scene was set smoothly for this table.

A black table cloth draped to the floor, giving a dark base for the treats on the buffet.  Varying types of layered cheesecloth created dimension, while accenting the theme perfectly.  Front and center a fabulous witch announced the theme of the party in spooky delight.  No witch is complete without her cauldron and spellbook and this one was even accompanied by her favorite little skeleton pet.

For edibles, this party had everything a guest could want, from assorted flavors of popcorn displayed in cauldrons to candied apples.  The candied apples came in different flavors, each with colors that enhanced the table smoothly The cupcake flavors offered were quite wonderful, caramel apple, red velvet, cookies and cream and even pumpkin spice! Other treats included cookies in towers on a tall cupcake tray, gummy worms and even dark sixlets.  Eyeballs (wrapped chocolates), were placed in a stunning golden bowl held by a bird claw stand.

The labels were just ghoulish enough and with a spread of candles the table was a spooktacular success.
