The dessert table had a classic look with a rectangular table, ensuring that it would be easy for all of the guests to reach the treats that they wanted. A white fabric made a perfect background for the contrasting colors to really stick out.  In front of the fabric adorable strings of primary colored circles were draped smoothly to draw the eye. Balloons were innovatively placed on tall sticks and had cute ribbons with primary colors as well as giant letters spelling out the special birthday vip’s name.

The table was covered in white, going nicely with the backdrop and across the front a primary color Happy Birthday banner hung front and center announcing the celebration in style.  Three orange runners added a touch of elegance to the table. The foods and decor were arranged with precision, leaving plenty of space between each item for easy viewing.  Two gorgeous arrangements of bright flowers stood to each side of a delicious looking smash cake, making it a perfect centerpiece.  A tiered tower stacked with cake pops stood to the side adding dimension to the layout.  On the other end of the table a perfect assortment of cupcakes were placed on a three layer stand in a sweet array of primary tones.

Other neat touches included a framed photo of the birthday vip along with varying sizes of jars holding brightly colored gumballs. Confetti made a perfect touch spread across the table as well.

Russian Princess Themed Birthday Party

This Russian Princess Birthday Party was purely delightful from the pastel tones to the ornate details that were wonderfully put together by the innovative Silviya of Kurabiiki. She created this lovely birthday party for one of her two adorable daughters, Anastasia, so a Russian theme was perfect!

The guest tables oozed with elegance, a silver cover made an excellent base tone for the soft pink, yellow and green colors of the florals displayed down the row. At each place setting a fantastic, soft pink box with lovely detailing was waiting for each guest to open.  They were set gracefully on gorgeous doilies, adding to the elegant vibe. The chairs were even covered with silver, giving a royal effect to the tables.  Each chair had a cute tulle ribbon tied around the back for a sweet touch.

To give the guests something unique to remember, a long table was set up with an abundance of crafting materials, allowing each wonderful girl to make their own special, royal headdress, also known as a  kokoshnic.  Just so each little lady could showcase her new look, a fantastic picture of a palace was hung for a perfect photo-op.

The dessert table was a stunner from the lacy backdrop to the beautifully detailed treats offered.  Flowers lined the top of the backdrop in a garland shape, adding bright colors that stood out.  Set against a soft pink, the sheer lace fabric made a perfect scene setter for this party. On each end of the table a mini bouquet of sweet flowers was set in a fantastic vintage looking vase as well.  The cake was definitely fit for a princess with minute detailing and creme, yellow and black colors. It was set on a neat tray that allowed the cake to make a fabulous centerpiece for the table.

Wild One Birthday Party

Using “Where the Wild Things are” for inspiration, this birthday had a modern approach that was well executed throughout the beautiful venue.  Kelli Murray was able to utilize outdoor space for this sweet 1st birthday Wild One theme, which was perfect for all the natural elements that the book has.

The sun gave perfect lighting of course, so all of the browns and greens used shone beautifully.  The snacking table was set up underneath a tree, allowing it to be incorporated into the decorations very nicely.

A little DIY decoration was made from white fabric strips and hung from a branch on the tree to draw attention to the table elegantly.  A little breeze in the air gave it a touch of life, making it a fantastic addition to the decor.

The table was covered in a neat white cover with a leaf print that added a “wild” touch.  All of the foods were served in wooden trays and bowls, blending with the theme smoothly.  Sandwiches were served without crusts, a perfect snack for most kids.  A yummy trail mix of cheerios, goldfish and other goodies was also offered, all the natural tones went right with this Wild Thing idea.

To hit the sweet spot, tasty cupcakes were made and frosted in chocolate.  They were actually set on a log tray and garnished with greenery to blend effectively with the other goodies on the table.  The celebratory cake was delicious look with layers of white frosted goodness.  It was brilliantly topped with birthday boy’s name.  This cake was placed on a tall brown tray and surrounded in greenery as well.

An adorable teepee was set up with vine-like leaves draped over the top and a blanket with a tree print was used as the comfy seating option inside of it.  For a finishing touch, crowns were given out so each little one visiting could be their own “Wild Thing.”

Frozen Birthday Party

The instant classic “Frozen” not only made a wonderful show for children to enjoy but it makes a perfect theme for a birthday party as well. Nathalia Azeredo Photography captured each detail from this fabulous Frozen themed party, giving the special birthday girl memories to last a lifetime.

A large venue was used for this sweet party, giving plenty of space for all of the fantastic bits of decor that brought the theme to life. A massive backdrop was used to create a snowy, wintry look with gorgeous snowy trees. In front of the backdrop instead of the classic single buffet table, several tables of varying sizes were spaced out to make it easy for guests to grab their treats, while providing ample areas to place other fabulous decorations.

An idea used at this party that made it unique were the life-sized copies of each of the favorite characters from Frozen.  They were all beautifully detailed and placed optimally by the tables for everyone to check out.  a white cloth was even spread across the floor to give a snowy effect.  The birthday girl’s name was even spelled out at the front of one table in blue.

On the tables in the back row massive bouquets of lovely pink, purple and yellow flowers added a bright touch of color to the room and adorable bundles of balloons placed on each end of the space ensured a full look.

A layered cake made a delicious centerpieces for the table at the back, detailed with colorful snowflakes and a crown at the top.

The treats were all made to match the theme with colors that blended smoothly and adorable details like little Olaf’s on the cupcakes.  Even the dishware enhanced the look with clear and white tones along with some that even had sparkles and silver.

50’s Diner Soda Shop Party

What a blast of fun this 50’s Diner Soda Shop 1st Birthday Celebration turned out to be! With the skill of Liz Bassey Studios, this party had the perfect mash-up of colors/patterns and details.

The invitations to the event were wonderfully created, a blending of blue, yellow, red, black and white made a nice retro-backing for the variety of bold fonts that stood out. To make it one-of-a-kind, the birthday boy himself was featured on the corner of them, ensuring that guests would know who was being celebrated.

An adorable sign pointed the way to the party fun saying, “Max’s Diner, Cribside service with a smile.” This fantastic decoration was a DIY wonder, created by a loving neighbor from wood, with working lights incorporated into it, with a laser cutting machine.  Colored in the theme tones, this sign was a perfect introduction to hours of fun.

No 50’s party is complete without classic soda like Coca-Cola in retro bottles for everyone to enjoy, and this one made it a complete vintage experience by putting the bottles in old-school crates for a neat look.

Tables were set up in long rows, giving a family style experience that allowed guests to visit with each other easily.  Fun checkered red and white table covers were used, blending with the theme and adding a pop of color.  Each setting had a fantastic classic car waiting for the guests along with fun props like sunglasses, allowing everyone to join in the on excitement.

A menu was diy’d as well to match the invitations with the bold patterns, array of colors and the variety of fonts that really drew in the eye.

There was even an adorable cart used to hold some sweets like licorice that was fantastically decorated with a couple of cardboard characters and a jukebox.
