Let’s Fiesta Party for Twin Boys

To celebrate a milestone 1 year birthday for adorable twin boys, mom-to-be wanted colors and fun, so a Let’s Fiesta theme was the perfect way to go.

Let's Fiesta Party for Twin Boys pinata centerpiece and activity

Using a fantastic mix of bright shades of yellow, green, blue, and orange, the venue area was an absolute delight. The serving table was a delicious centerpiece to the room and with a bold, black backdrop it was also very unique. Bright paper medallions made a neat accent to the whole look. A cute little chalkboard menu was also created and placed on the table, making it a breeze for everyone to know what the tasty choices were. The centerpiece on the table was a vibrantly colored pinata that the kids got to beat-up later and get some sweet candies from.

Aside from safe goodies for the little ones like applesauce pouches and cheddar bunnies, the food was very Mexican oriented, to bring the theme to life. There were three types of salsa, ensuring something yummy for everyone, rustic roasted, roasted tomatillo and corn. Also made were tasty baked chicken taquitos, baked tex-mex pimento cheese dip, fruit salad, and an entire guacamole bar with all sorts of toppings and mixes.

For a safe method of distribution, tortilla chips were placed in brown lunch bags so each guest could have some that little fingers hadn’t been grabbing already.

Of course if you have a Fiesta, you have to have a scrumptious margarita, so an entire station was set-up for everyone to enjoy. Of course, for the young ones and adults who don’t like the margaritas, a variety of other beverages were offered like water, lemonade, and Corona.

The take home gifts were adorable rubber duckies that had been dressed up as a mariachi band, creating a memento that fit the theme in a creative and entertaining way.

For the venue area, the woods made the perfect spot for an adventurous celebration for a 7-year old boy. Using the outdoors for the setting all kinds of natural elements were included for free, like the trees and all sorts of sunlight!

Fantastic handmade wooden signs were made to add to the camping effect that said “Please don’t feed the bears” and “Camp Michael”, and more. This DIY craft was simple and really added to the rustic charm of the event.

The snack table was an array of all sorts of camping goodies including pudding dirt cups, gummy worms and frogs that were called “Fish bait”, s’more cupcakes, lots of cookies, and many other delicious options.

A “Take a hike trail mix bar” was set up for all of the kids to make their own mixtures to take home. This made a wonderful personalized option, ensuring that each guest would take home something yummy to eat later!

All kinds of fun activities were put together for the guests to participate in, one was an area set-up with wooden disc name tags that each child could decorate with twine and glow-in-the-dark beads. They even got to participate in a fantastic scavenger hunt, something that every camping event should include!

For a neat way to eat their meal, lunch was actually served to the guests in bandannas on sticks, the food was a ham sandwich, apple and canteen of water.

Sisters Frozen Party

Frozen has been a hit among the kids across the world with a cool Princess heroine adventure that makes a fantastic birthday theme. Using immaculate details and the token soft blue and silver colors from the movie, Hello Brielle created a birthday party for two sweet little girls that was like no other celebration.

sisters-frozen-party-let-it-go

The venue area was a world of utter imagination with sweet decorations everywhere you looked. The soft blue was easily incorporated into a backdrop, making a great center area for fantastic birthday signs, a variety of lovely snowflakes in white and silver and pinwheels of gorgeous color.

One snack table was not enough to celebrate the Frozen theme, this one had two, one behind the other to showcase the beauty and elegance of the princess adventure perfectly.

The table in the back was chock-full of decorations arranged to look like the city from the movie after it was snowed over, giving the kids a neat way to see their favorite movie come to life. The front of that table displayed one of the favorite catch phrases from the movie, “Let it go.”

The snack table was beautifully covered in a blue cloth and decorated with a fun tassel banner in the front. Elsa and Anna stood in the center area, acting as welcoming little hostesses for an adorable touch. Olaf was not left out either, hanging off to the side of the table with some delicious munchies.

Each treat went with the theme in a sweet way, like the cake pops that were frosted in white and blue and covered in snowflakes all the way to the top of the sticks. Yummy sugar cookies were arranged on a sweet white tiered tray, each frosted to match the Frozen theme precisely.  The cakes were a marvel, one made for each sweet girl, and decorated uniquely, and deliciously.

Little Bird Party

Laurie of Feather and Fray always has gorgeous work to show, and this Little Bird themed 2nd birthday party is no exception. Her eye for elegance and sophistication showed through fantastically in every aspect of this sweet event.

Little Bird Party blush mint theme

Emphasis was placed on a lovely melon shade that really accented the room beautifully. For a backdrop on the dessert table a window was used, offering bright natural lighting which is always a plus. For a soft effect a beautiful mash-up of fabric strips were patterned together over the window. With a range of patterns, textures along with white and melon colors, this backdrop was exquisite. Feathers were spread throughout the ribbons as well, giving it a sweet finishing touch.

The table was covered with a vintage lace cloth, giving the image elegance that was detailed and lush. Using gorgeous arrangements of light colored flowers, the table had a natural element that went smoothly with the Little Bird theme. Each food was placed with precision that ensured ease of use for every guest as they lined up. With varying levels of trays, the food was excellently displayed and a breeze to access.

All of the dishes used for holding the snacks were a bright white, so the colors of the food really stood out vibrantly. The only dish that was not white was for the birthday girl. In the soft themed color, this tray displayed a single decadent cupcake with two little candles that any little one could love.

The large cake was a tasty centerpiece all by itself with immaculate detailing that was sure to give a lasting memory to the guests. With one giant layer frosted in yummy white, this cake was simple and elegant. It was topped with a lovely setting of melon and white flowers, edible, that made a wonderful finishing touch.
