The venue featured a fantastic blended of colors like deep blue, green pink, white, purple and even yellow to bring the room to life.

Berry Bake Shop Birthday party decorations

One adorable touch for the guests to enjoy at this party were personalized baker’s hats for them all to use. With the chance to create their own, each hat had an artistic and unique take. There was an entire table on display to give plenty of space for the visitors to work on them. Covered in a bold blue cloth and covered in fantastic creative tools like stickers and accessories, this table was a wonderful addition to the Baking theme.

The choice of tasty treats was nothing short of amazing.  Form strawberry tarts to plum pudding candy, each snack was colorful and fun. They were even decorated with the various Strawberry Shortcake characters, adding a touch of cute.

A gigantic photo of the adorable birthday girl was displayed in a matted arrangement of colors and patterns on an easel, ensuring that the guests knew what the celebration was all about.

The cutest mini-kitchenettes for kids were set up with play food and dishes as well, adding to the decor in a functional way that would entertain the kids for sure. They were decorated with a banner label for a cute effect.

One unique idea that added to the party was a coloring library for everyone to enjoy, chock-full of coloring books and crayons.  This area was set up beautifully with baskets and vintage book holders that added to the ambience.

Another fantastic touch that made the party memorable was its photo station where everyone could create their own moment to last in time forever.

Dol – First Birthday Party

This Lila’s Dol First Birthday Party was a phenomenal blend of colors and fun that was created by Lila’s mom, Angie Bae of Meli & Angi. With a room full of DIY items with sentiment, this party is one that offered a personal and exciting touch.

Dol - First Birthday Party decoration ideas

To start, this event was introduced to the guests through a unique invitation that was sure to have everyone wanting more. In addition to send a paper card invitation, button sugar cookies were made and packaged in an adorable plastic case and filled with tissue shred for cushioning. The cookies were frosting in pink and green and marked with Korean letters saying, lila/1 (chook/dol – 1st birthday).

In order to greet everyone as they came to the party room,  fantastic photos of the birthday girl were posted in the elevators saying “Oh! You made it. I’m on the 4th floor!”

A white wall in the venue area was decked out in an array of gorgeous photos as well, giving everyone a lovely decoration to check out. They were displayed gallery style, giving an artsy effect that was impressive.

Bringing tradition into this party was a big part of the beauty of it. A “doljabee” – a traditional element of a Dol, was laid out and all of the guests were able to guess which items birthday girl would choose. This gave a sweet way to have everyone feel included in the fun.

Vibrant colors were used to bring the party area to life, handmade candy pillars were a fantastic example with their innovative designs and delicious composition.  The cake was a shimmery delight in two circular layers that were covered in adorable colors and details that were sure to impress.

Even the centerpieces embraced the wonderful cultural aspect of the celebration with globes of various heights in bright colors, representing a family of 3.

Wonder Woman Birthday Celebration

For an exciting celebration, this Wonder Woman theme was used to create an action pack birthday to remember.  Designed and styled by Jamee from Setting the Mood, this event brought a heroine back to life with a vibrant blend of colors and fun that anyone could enjoy.

Wonder Woman Birthday Celebration backdrop

The party room was very large, giving lots of space for everyone to spread out nicely.  A table was set up for the adults and the children separately so that each group could enjoy the seating optimally.  The adult tables had a fantastic custom Wonder Woman cut-out that was displayed on top of a cylinder surround with her images. The placemats used were classic comic bubbles with “Pow, Boom, Bam and Splat” on them.  These went perfectly with the Wonder Woman glasses and gingham silverware used.

The kids table had a 3-D centerpiece that spelled out the birthday girl’s name in a fun way, decorated with Wonder Woman comic strips. They had fun, red silverware with white does and water bottles with personalized labels.

For the buffet table, a wonderful Wonder Woman back drop was used to make the area pop with color. It was displayed with lots of Wonder Woman comic book covers to really emphasize the theme with style. Silver, modernistic trays were used to hold all of the yummy treats, giving an artistic touch that stood out.

Other fun details on the buffet table included fantastic gift bags with lots of fun comic goodies, Wonder Woman shoes as accents to the back drop, a spread of the fun phrases “Pow, Splat and Boom,” which all worked together to complete the look beautifully.

For a burst of spectacular deliciousness, the Wonder Woman cake stood tall with two-tiers of detailing that just kept going. Covered in a vibrant array of colors and classic Wonder Woman artwork, this cake was definitely one-of-a-kind.

Curious George Birthday Party

This lovely birthday party took the Curious George theme and made it personal by changing it to match the birthday boy as a Curious Grant theme. The bold distribution of bright colors gave a life to this venue that was sure to impress.

The event was designed by the talented Esther of My Bride Story, and she left no detail out, ensuring that Curious George was incorporated throughout in a fun way.

The treat table was a blast of adorable red, yellow and blue, each item standing out remarkably, looking quite delicious. The area above the table was decorated with the cutest dangling circles of color, making the theme shine from the ceiling to the floor. The table itself was covered in a light blue cloth, layered beautifully over white for a textured effect. The treats were spread with precision, making each convenient for guests to grab.

One sweet feature at this party was an area set up for fun photos to be taken with a fantastic backdrop, allowing the visiting families to join in on the memory making with their own creative shots.

An outdoor area was set up with a fabulous red couch and ottoman along with a white coffee table and a radio flyer full of delicious beverages, making it easy for everyone to grab a drink.  With blue lanterns draped above, this area was a pure delight.  There was even a special space laid out for the birthday boy with his name beautifully spelled out in the grass and an adorable white bench with throw pillows set behind it.  Pinwheels added a touch of fun to the design. Incorporated throughout the venue area, arrangements of beautiful red flowers were displayed, pulling the look together with a natural element that was brilliantly done.

Lego Birthday Party

What little one can resist the awesomeness of a Lego Birthday Party? Crackers Art took this classic theme and made it a personalize adventure for the birthday boy. With an emphasis on the vibrant multitude of colors that Legos is known for, the venue for this party was a spectacular arrangement of fun. Each detail was personalized with Lego tags and adorable Lego features that were sure to impress the kids who got to attend. The treat table was a wonder, perfectly organized and each food was a sweet addition that brought the theme to life.

Crackers LEGO Birthday Party cake

The cake was a vision of Lego excitement, a number 5 made to look like construction was going on. This innovative idea was certainly an impressive way to give the theme a unique twist.

Sarah’s take on the party:

When I asked my son Harvey what theme he wanted for his 5th birthday party, he jumped at the chance of having a Lego party before his big brother stole the theme for his own party the following month. I was thrilled because I’d been dying to create a Lego-inspired party and I really wanted to put a unique spin on it. I’d seen some fabulous Lego parties on the web, but I wanted ours to reflect everything my boys love about Lego with plenty of in-your-face colour.

I designed all of the party printables and then tied in all of the food into the same colour scheme. There were two separate tables:  the dessert buffet, and a smaller snack table which I directed the kids to when they arrived. They also had a sit-down lunch of hot food and sandwiches before it was time to hit the dessert buffet.

I usually attempt the cake and cookies myself, but this time I enlisted the skills of Lisa from ‘Cakes & Biscuits By Lisa’. I provided Lisa a design for the cookies, and we discussed ideas back and forth about a cake design. The birthday boy’s big brother made the Lego tractor and truck for the cake, so it was lovely to add that personal touch. We left it in Lisa’s capable hands and the cake turned out perfectly and exactly as I’d pictured. Harvey and his friends absolutely loved it!

For party games we had a ‘Draw Your Own Lego Character’ colouring competition, a ‘Pin the Brick in the Wall’ game (our Lego version of ‘Pin the Tail on the Donkey’), free-range Lego on the lounge room rug, and some Lego tower-building races. I also created the graphics for the games myself, which I kept simple and effective. The party guests took home small treat bags of candy, wrapped chocolate bars, and a big smile 🙂 .
