Good Old Fashioned Ice Cream Party

A Good Old Fashioned Ice Cream Party can be celebrated in all kinds of fun ways, from Birthdays to office parties. This special example was a thank-you event created by Fancy That & Inkberry, who used innovation and fun to make a tasty celebration to cherish.

Ice Cream Shoppe Party dessert table

The treat table for this party was a spectacular display of color and sugar with all sorts of fun to taste. The backdrop was a bold pattern of thick, black and white stripes that added a dramatic effect to the bright colors that covered the table.  Adorable strings of blue and white tissue poms were draped across the backdrop adding a sweet touch.

For a bright addition to the look, the table was covered in a light blue and white cover, making it a neat setting for all of the colorful ice cream snacks to stand out on. A unique arrangement of trays were used to hold the snacks at varying levels to make everything easy to access. Pink boxes, both squared and round added to the fun look.

A fun long tray was used to hold a variety of ice cream toppings, each was labeled so the guests would know for sure what they were grabbing. A tray of ice cream sandwiches were set up in tasty fashion.

The cake for this sweet celebration was marvelous, set on a clear tray so all of the brilliant sprinkles could be seen.  A single layer of deliciousness covered in light pink and topped with an ice cream cone spilled over on it.  What a unique and tasty looking option!

This awesome party also featured an area for kids to create their own memories by making their own special ice cream themed placemat, even customized with their own names on them for added effect.

Once Upon a Dream Birthday

The arrangement of soft peach tones made this party soft and sweet, making the Once Upon a Dream theme very fitting.  Dreamflavours Celebrations used a smooth blending of decor to create a one-of-a-kind celebration that oozed elegance.

The dessert table was a wonder with such a sweet style that the guests were certain to remember it for a long time. A gorgeous backdrop of peach cloth was used, draped ceiling to floor giving a full effect. Strings of lights were placed behind, to offer an excellent lighting ambiance, as well as throughout the venue area. Adorable white balls hung from each side of the backdrop as well, adding to the incredible arrangement of decorations.

To bring the Once Upon a Dream to life, neat silhouettes of fairies were hung in the background along with a beautiful decoration that showed the birthday girl’s name and age for everyone to check out. Even unicorns were incorporated, adding to the beauty and elusiveness of the theme.

The table was covered in a lovely, sheer fabric that tufted out perfectly. The top of the table was layered in gold that accented the peaches and pinks laid throughout.

Dessert options for this lovely event were plentiful, each matching the theme spectacularly. Cupcakes were frosted to perfection and had lovely labels standing out. Birthday girl’s name was spelled out in sugar cookies, for a unique and tasty addition.  The cake was the true centerpiece however, a towering cascade of delicious looking frosting top with the number 1, and decorated with mini-fairies, flowers and an adorable little unicorn. With such attention to detail, this sweet birthday party is one that stands out remarkably.

Charming Snow White Party

Amy L.B. Photography brought this world of imagination to life with a Charming Snow White Birthday to enjoy.  Straight from the book to the table, this wonderful story played out to perfection in a venue that was made for a fantasy to shine.

Taking advantage of the brightness outdoors, the tasty buffet table was set up in front of a fabulously large window, so everything was lavishly bright and natural looking. An adorable back drop was created with a banner that said, Happy Birthday Nadia,” so there was no doubt as to who this adventurous party was for. Using strips of blue and red fabric, the banner was accented to perfection with classic Snow White colors.

For a magnificent touch, the front of the dessert table was adorned with a massive mirror that looked like it could have come straight from the story itself. Painted in gold, it had a rustic quality that added to the whole fun effect. The table was covered in a variety of fabrics, white, blue and lace, creating a royal quality that was sure to impress. With adorable flower arrangements and a unique berry centerpiece that held the tasty cake, this table was one-of-a-kind.

Adding to the enchanting details of this event, the desserts added to the magic with all sorts of delicacies to try out.  Cupcakes were actually shaped like apples, adding a little mystery to the deliciousness. Cake pops were brightly colored in yellow and blues and covered in yummy looking white sprinkles. Even the beverages went with the theme perfectly, apple juice with apples actually floating in the jar for added effect. The cake looked immaculate in white, with the birthday girl’s name spelled out on top in red. It even had a red ribbon around the bottom, creating an elegant appearance.

Ethereal Birthday Celebration

With an array of natural looking elements, Dream flavours Celebrations created an Ethereal Birthday party that could make any kid’s imagination shine.

This party was decorated from top to bottom, ensuring an experience that would impress any guest who was able to attend. The venue was cozy and full of natural lighting that made the area look lighthearted and fun.

A fantastic arrangement of vines were hung from the ceiling, filling the room with life and greenery that even had a ladybug decoration for effect.

As a unique way to display the food, the buffet table was set up to the side of the room and named the, “Sweet Corner.” It was filled to the brim with tasty delights that were sure to keep the kids coming back for more. With a bold blend of colors, the table stood out dramatically. The backdrop was a wonder with a DIY tree decoration that certainly drew in attention.

Another corner was set up with adorable balloons, including an arrangement of balloon animals like rabbits, to keep the kids thoroughly entertained.

The tables were set-up family style for eating and for an innovative option, adorable mushroom stools were used to sit on. They added to the ethereal quality of the room while providing a vibrant touch of color and lifelike decor.

This party also featured a fantastic stage area for a show. With a backdrop brilliantly decorated with all sorts of details and colors, this stage was one to remember forever. A cascade of trees with an owl were placed in the center of the background, creating a foresty look. There was even a wonderful bridge across the front. Seating was available for the kids to enjoy the show from, each chair covered in a colorful fabric that added to the ambiance of the room.

Oh the Places You’ll Go Party

With inspiration from a Dr. Seuss classic, this Oh the Places You’ll Go birthday party was a fantastic display of imagination. Cindy Lee, mother and party planner felt that the book had such a meaningful message, this theme would relay their importance for years to come. Using the vibrant colors that the book displays, purple, yellow, turquoise and some hot pink, the venue for this party was sure to impress. Balloons and stripes were also used to emphasize the fun that this theme portrays.

Oh the Places You'll Go Party main table

The venue chosen for this birthday adventure was at the Pretend City Children’s Museum in Irvine, CA, which is actually a wonderful non-profit educational institution, making it the perfect location for a book themed gathering.

The main table had a yarn focus, used as a symbol for prosperity and long life, giving a special meaning to the fun decor. White manzanita trees with gorgeous yellow buds were made out of mini styrofoam balls and yarn. For a unique touch, styrofoam balls decorated with yarn were used in vases for a fun, colorful display.  Fantastic stands were made out of candlesticks and wooden plaques, which were painted with white acrylic for an adorable DIY addition.

The cake was sweetly put together in two layers of simple white frosting, topped with a custom paperweight doll from that make the perfect topper. The bottom of each layer was wrapped in a blue color, adding a touch of brightness.

With all kinds of other personal additions to this event, it was chock-full of fun for everyone to enjoy!
