Pastel Ice Cream Parlor Party

Pastel-Ice-Cream-Parlor-Party-Dessert-Table

Light colors and delicious fun made this Pastel Ice Cream Parlor Party a fantastically memorable event. With the expertise of Creative Ink Productions, the venue for this party was a tastefully decorated gem.

Taking into account the special birthday girl’s love of sweets, the theme for the party was perfection. Invitations were artfully designed with a cute little ice cream cone logo on a modern arrangement of patterns with the theme colors of pink, aqua, purple all included.

The room chosen for the party was filled with natural lighting from a wall of windows, ensuring that the room was bright and playful.  A table was set in front of the windows for the treats.  It was designed to look like an ice cream parlor with a white awning and printable art showcasing the birthday girl. The table was covered in a white cloth that draped to the floor for a full effect. On each side a cute bouquet of colorful balloons made a lovely accent.  Overhead fantastic ice cream cone art hung beautifully.

Treats for this event were adorable, each going with the theme perfectly. Sugar cookies shaped into cones were decorated with precision.  There were even ice cream bar cake pops for the guests to enjoy. The centerpiece for the table was an absolute delight. A large cake frosted in soft pink had a topper that looked like a spilled ice cream cone.

Some other neat elements used at this party included ice cream containers that held the party favors for the guests and fantastic framed art throughout the venue.

Modern Wonderland 1st Birthday

Modern-Wonderland-1st-Birthday-Dessert-Table

This Modern Wonderland 1st Birthday designed by Whitney Miller Designs was a perfect blend of sophistication and fun.

The invitations created had a wonderful arrangement of colorful snowflakes on postcards that had a weathered effect and a vintage font that stood out beautifully.

A wonderland dessert table made a great attention grabber at this party with all sorts of details to draw the eye. A backdrop of snowy windows was accented with fun patterned banners. The table was a modern, sheek, black stand for all of the tasty foods.

A delicious variety of snacks was offered from popcorn balls to chocolate covered pretzels. Sugar cookies were adorably shaped into snowflakes and frosted in purple, blue and white. There were even homemade polar pies to enjoy.

For beverages milk, was offered in cute little jars with swirly straws and fantastic labels that matched the theme beautifully.

Every 1st birthday party should have a smash cake and this one was quite lovely with a cute little girl topper holding a single candle.  The cake for the guests was made to match the smash cake, in soft pink frosting.  It was a sweet raspberry flavored wonder for everyone to enjoy.  To go with the theme, a lovely little girl stood on top in a mini winter wonderland of her own.  The cake was labeled to match the other foods in colors and fonts that matched the invitations.

Dinosaur Themed Party

Dinosaur-birthday-party-ideas-tassels

Bringing a bit of the prehistoric home, this Dinosaur Themed Party is a perfect example of how fun dinosaurs can be!

For colors different shades of blue and green made this venue bright and exciting.  With some silver and white thrown in, the theme had a modern vibe.

The snack station was marvelously decorated from top to bottom with all sorts of cute details.  A banner on the wall advertised the birthday boy with bold lettering and interesting color/pattern mixes.  A bouquet of green and blue balloons filled the space at the back of the table smoothly.

At the front of the station a row of tassels in all of the theme tones made a neat look and accented the white cover on the table brightly.

The snacks and beverages offered at the table were simple classics, making it easy to decide what to try.  Delicious juice bottles as a kid favorite stood on each side of the table. Personalized dinosaur labels made these drinks go with the theme in fun fashion.  At the front of the table tasty cupcakes frosted in green and brown. They were topped with fun little flag banners and flowers.

Gifts for the guests were placed in paper bags that had convenient carrying handles on them.  Labels matching the theme gave them a prehistoric touch that stood out.

For a centerpiece, the birthday cake was a vision. Set on a box, it stood tall so everyone could see it easily.  Frosted with precision, the birthday boy’s name was placed on the side of the cake on top of grass and underneath an adorable dinosaur holding the number 3.

From top to bottom, this dinosaur party was sure to entertain all of the lucky little guests who came to celebrate!

Rainbow Unicorn Birthday Party

Rainbow-Unicorn-Birthday-Party-Treats

This Rainbow Unicorn Birthday Party created by the wonderful Tala of Perfect Packages was a dream come true for her and her little one. From the abundance of pastel decor to the glitter, and of course lots of unicorns, any little one could adore this magical party.

The dessert table was a sweet arrangement of colors, decor and treats, showing off the theme beautifully.  A backdrop of pinwheels bordering adorable striped butterfly art with a cute banner with the birthday girl’s name set the stage for a delightful party experience.  The table was layered with a blue and purple cover, giving a fun look.  With sweet unicorns and lovely little flower bouquets, this table was perfectly filled with not only tasty treats but also fun decor.  All of the treats were designed to go with the Rainbow Unicorn theme with sweet pastel colors and unicorn labels. The cake was a delight with layers in different tones topped with a fantastic unicorn.

From Tala: “Having a daughter whose favorite color has been pink since the day she was born, has meant that most of her parties have been very pink sided. So when Scarlett asked me for a “rainbow unicorn party with lots of glitter and balloons” (those were her exact words), I jumped for joy and was ready to embrace every color of the pastel rainbow! For a special touch I asked my illustrator to make a clip art of my daughters’ face along with the unicorns and rainbows. Then I set to work on designing the pastel party stationery. For styling, it was so nice to use almost every party prop in my cupboard – from giant butterflies to crepe paper streamers, from paper fans to satin sashes and multi colored Easter baskets.

Looking back, I must admit how much I like the backdrop of my feature table; it is whimsically romantic, yet girlie, sweet and fun all at once. With just 10 little party ladies, it was a quieter party then in past years, but the children still thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Their eyes lit up when they were given a unicorn horn to wear upon arrival, and I think they almost could not control their excitement when they saw the large array of party favors, all for their taking when they went home. Not only was the birthday drip-cake encompassed in a glittery rainbow, but it even had a unicorn on top, which made Scarlett very happy, especially as we sang to her on three occasions! I decided early on in my party planning that we would ask for children to be dropped off and offer a “Parents Reception” for 1 hour at the end of the party, so that I could also mingle with the older folks. I have two favorite parts to the party: 1) I adored the “Welcome Craft” activity. Children could design their own photo frames with jewels and glittery alphabet letters. Plus, we took a photo of each child with the Birthday girl and printed them out, so by the time the party was over they had a nice memory to take home and remember the event for weeks/years to come. 2) I had such a giggle when we sang Happy Birthday to Scarlett. It was sung in 3 languages and all the kiddos knew the words, except me! Luckily we managed to get all the singing on video! All in all, it was a success and so long as my little ray of sunshine enjoyed herself, that’s what matters most to me. “

Classic Snow White Birthday Party

Classic-Snow-White-Birthday-Party-Sugar-Cookies

This Classic Snow White Birthday Party was a vision in elegance that any little one could fall in love with. Using blue, gold, yellow and red, Aura Decorations  went all out to create a world of imagination for a little princess’ special day.

From floor to ceiling, no detail was left unattended at this lovely party.  Textured throw rugs in white and red made a perfect place to display tables of goodies for the guests to enjoy. Curtains were brilliantly arranged around the treat table, making a cozy and sophisticated look that stood out in lovely fashion.

For a unique and fun touch, a stool was wrapped in a yellow tutu with a red flower as an accent detail.

A backdrop for the treat buffet was made in blue and silver with a vintage framed silhouette which went seamlessly with the Snow White theme.

The table was covered in gold and red fabrics that looked quite royal, the red was even curved and had little golden accent bows.

Vintage trays were used to display the delicious food options for the partygoers to try out.  The treats made for the party were exquisite in detailing, sugar cookies frosted in blue letters spelled out the birthday girl’s name right at the front of the table. Cake pops had adorable red and white sticks that made for a mess free treat option.  Rice krispy treats were even frosted in blue with beautiful framed silhouettes on them.  A special cake for the birthday girl stood tall in the center on a lovely chandelier style tray with a fun crown as a topper.

For the guests an entire round table was set up to hold a three layer wonder in red, yellow and blue detailed to look like Snow White’s dress.  With a scattering of red bouquets, this venue was a vision of style and elegance.
