This Royal London 1st Birthday party created by Tina Montemayor of Do Elegant Yourself was an elegant and sophisticated filled with fantastic decor. Expanding from the basic colors of the British flag, red white and blue, she also blended hot pink and gold into the decor to add a bold touch to each detail.
From the very entrance, this venue was ready to take all the guests to London in royal fashion. The front door was diy’d to look just like a classic telephone booth, transporting everyone to a fun filled adventure.
A crafting station was set up so little ones could create their own special crowns to wear for the party, providing a take-home gift to remember.
The snack table was quite fantastic, laid out so little ones would have easy access to the delicious treats. It was placed in front of a window, letting the sunlight provide some natural lighting.
The table was covered with a white cloth, ensuring that all of the vibrant colors of the foods and decor would stand out brilliantly. One fantastic idea utilized was a tower made out of donuts, it stood tall and looked absolutely yummy. Flowers were arranged in adorable bouquets, one of red, pink and cream tones and the other with blues and greens. Mini glasses were filled with layered jello, giving a royal way to enjoy this sweet. Both the birthday cake and the smash cake were exquisitely made with rippled details. The smash cake had a touch of pink that made it unique, along with a golden “1” on top. The other cake was two layers in white finished with a crown on top. Other fun snacks included sugar cookies with British flags frosted on and red velvet cupcakes with royal toppers for added effect.
