If there is one singular animated character in the history of children’s movies that is beloved by everyone from everywhere, it’s the Minion! The little banana-colored troublemakers have been gracing our screens all over the world since 2010, and there simply is no better theme than that of the Minions to make your next party full of joy and tons of fun.
It’s easy to get started with putting the Minions party theme together because there are three staples you must have: blue, yellow, and goggles! Having these three aesthetics will make creating more décor and food looks incredibly easy. String up blue and yellow streamers, door beads, ceiling pom-poms, blinking lights, table cloths and chair bows, cupcakes, cookies, and balloons in the form of little Minion faces! Have a little “Minion Goggle” station at the entry of the party where guests can grab their own silly goggle glasses to wear during the event. Create a backdrop of all the best of the Minions, and come up with a party game in which the guests take turns imitating their favorite Minion! Rack up on plenty of Minion themed party eating ware, and invent a fun, yellow punch for guests to enjoy. The food table should really be an assortment of fantastic sweet treats, because the Minions themselves are so full of energy—and what’s better to make your party guests feel like they are in the world of the Minions than with a big ol’ sugar rush!
