Army Camo Themed Birthday Party

When Heather’s son wanted his birthday party at a laser tag venue, she came up with this unique Army Camo Theme to celebrate in style.

She used a fantastic sign with a giant tank in green and black to let everyone know what the celebration was all about and even bordered it in a cool layered pattern and attached ribbon to hang it up.

For the guest tables, she covered them in a smooth mauve color that allowed the lime green layer on top to stand out remarkably well.  For the center pieces she created a neat sign numbering each table and labelling them “Platoons” for an added camo effect. The signs were placed in lovely vases full of bright colors that blended well with the theme colors.  Each place setting had easy to use and toss green paper plates and camo cups for the kids to utilize. She even folded the napkins and wrapped them in a neat little holder.

One of the creative decorations that she used to add detail to the venue area was a flag banner that had a variety of camo patterns and colors that was draped up and attached with dark ribbon.

A dessert table was set-up with camo-mix for everyone to enjoy that was fantastically draped in camo cloth.  Using giant letters, SIX was spelled out so everyone would know how old the birthday boy was. Directly behind the six was the delicious cake.  It was a two-layer expression of love in Camo colored frosting and had a fun scattering of plastic army men displayed to add to the theme brilliantly. The cake was even topped with a play grenade, making it one-of-a-kind.

Yummy cake pops were made in camo colors to look like little grenades, there were even a variety of sweet candies for the guests to try out.

Princess Tea Party Celebration

Tracie from Tracie Stier Johnson created a massive masterpiece with this Princess Tea Party celebration. The venue for the event was very spacious, making it a fantastic palette to create a magical experience for her little one, Hunter.

The entrance to the party area was a display of lots of pink and pink polka dot balloons that were tied up beautifully along with a large print that was hung on the front door to welcome the guests.

Despite the large amount of space that Tracie had to work with, the decor was phenomenal. An array of poms were scattered throughout the party area in a variety of shades and patterns, creating a sweet and elegant atmosphere for the little princesses to enjoy.

A large display of photos was used to showcase the sweet little ones event, the walls were covered along with a lovely mix of photos on each of the tables.

The tables for the children catered to their small size with perfection. Instead of using the standard size that most adults would use, Tracie set up little ones so the kids were comfortable.  The tables were lined with a sweet pink tablecloth and had a scattering of liners that stood out beautifully with their dark pattern. To make the table look more royal, tall skinny vases were used to showcase a gorgeous arrangement of flowers along with adorable glasses with mini twizzlers to add a pop of red to the color spread. There were even cute little cut-outs that added to the ambience with ease.

Hunter’s cake was a three-tiered wonder covered in a soft pink frosting that any princess could love. Topped with an adorable little doll in moss and the number 4, this cake was sophisticated and fun. This Princess Party left nothing to be desired from top to bottom it was perfection.

Pink & Blue Nautical Girl Party

What’s better than bringing the magic of the sea into the home for a fun party? This is exactly what event stylist Partylicious did with a pink and blue nautical themed party for a birthday girl. With cheerful colors of bright pink and royal blue, this theme party mixed nautical imagery, bold patterns, and seaside details meant for a day at the beach.

beach anchor net decorations

The main event table was adorned with a pink, chevron-patterned tablecloth and a mock fishing rope net. While the net offered a cool, nautical look in itself, it also served as a useful piece that accessories were pinned on and tied to, such as a big starfish and festive balloons. Several creative seafaring props were displayed in front of the event table, including a wooden anchor, authentic lobster trap crates, a sailor’s lantern, and distressed wooden sign that read “BEACH”. Other décor included polka-dot balloons in sandy white, blue, and corally pink that framed the event table.

The cake was a star in itself, presented in the middle of the main event table on white scalloped cake stand. The two-tiered birthday cake was draped in white fondant, with the bottom layer boasting pink chevron designs and the top layer showcasing blue horizontal stripes. In the middle of the two tiers was a beautifully crafted pink bow, which furthermore accented a cleverly crafted sugar fondant sailboat cake topper, decorated in the same pink and blue hues with a big number “4” on the sail for the birthday girl. Other treats were placed along the main table, featuring sweet cupcakes each with their own nautical images like flags, anchors, and a life tube. On another plate were sugar cookies with pink, white, and blue frosting with those same nautical image adornments as well.

The backdrop of the main event table was truly a sight to see, with a ruffled white curtain attached to the wall and a happy birthday banner in the theme colors attached to it. Large puff adornments made from tulle hung from the ceiling in the brilliant royal blue and sweet pink. A white picture frame sat on the table with a sign inside that featured cute artwork of a little sailor girl and more happy birthday wishes to the birthday princess! A creative addition was a rope tied in a sailor’s knot around the frame of the artwork. Last but not least were the fantastic party favors, wrapped up in pink chevron patterned boxes.

Pastel Ice Cream Party

Just Call Me Martha got to create this adorable Pastel Ice Cream Party and they did a fantastic job! With an array of light, sweet colors and fun patterns, this event was lighthearted, just the thing to entertain a group of kids for hours!

Instead of trying to find a way to use ice cream buffet style, they set up a sundae topping area for everyone to add their favorite things to their ice cream, allowing a personal touch and ensuring that the ice cream didn’t melt before it was enjoyed.

Pastel Ice Cream Party table

Each detail was impeccably thought-out, like a bouquet of ice cream shaped cookies in a vase that added the theme in a tasty and cute fashion.  Flowers that matched the sweet pastel color palette, spread around to add an aromatic natural touch.  There were even yellow macaroons placed in a fantastic bowl that stood out beautifully.

From the chocolate pops to the cake balls, every treat offered a delicious and lovely option for the kids to try out.

One favorite decoration was the ice cream truck artwork on display, it was created in soft pastels and added a bit of adorableness that was sure to be appreciated by all.

The cake was gorgeous, two tiers of lemon and raspberry butter cake that was detailed to perfection.  The soft pastels and ice cream cone topper brought this centerpiece to life on the table.

The take home gifts were wonderful and unique, each kid was given a box filled with little accessories, like an ice cream pencil and notepad, eraser, lollies and even a soapcicle!

This tasty theme really took off and invited everyone who attended to remember the party with so many little touches that brought it all together beautifully.
