To celebrate a milestone 1 year birthday for adorable twin boys, mom-to-be wanted colors and fun, so a Let’s Fiesta theme was the perfect way to go.

Using a fantastic mix of bright shades of yellow, green, blue, and orange, the venue area was an absolute delight. The serving table was a delicious centerpiece to the room and with a bold, black backdrop it was also very unique. Bright paper medallions made a neat accent to the whole look. A cute little chalkboard menu was also created and placed on the table, making it a breeze for everyone to know what the tasty choices were. The centerpiece on the table was a vibrantly colored pinata that the kids got to beat-up later and get some sweet candies from.

Aside from safe goodies for the little ones like applesauce pouches and cheddar bunnies, the food was very Mexican oriented, to bring the theme to life. There were three types of salsa, ensuring something yummy for everyone, rustic roasted, roasted tomatillo and corn. Also made were tasty baked chicken taquitos, baked tex-mex pimento cheese dip, fruit salad, and an entire guacamole bar with all sorts of toppings and mixes.

For a safe method of distribution, tortilla chips were placed in brown lunch bags so each guest could have some that little fingers hadn’t been grabbing already.

Of course if you have a Fiesta, you have to have a scrumptious margarita, so an entire station was set-up for everyone to enjoy. Of course, for the young ones and adults who don’t like the margaritas, a variety of other beverages were offered like water, lemonade, and Corona.

The take home gifts were adorable rubber duckies that had been dressed up as a mariachi band, creating a memento that fit the theme in a creative and entertaining way.

Laurie of Feather and Fray always has gorgeous work to show, and this Little Bird themed 2nd birthday party is no exception. Her eye for elegance and sophistication showed through fantastically in every aspect of this sweet event.

Emphasis was placed on a lovely melon shade that really accented the room beautifully. For a backdrop on the dessert table a window was used, offering bright natural lighting which is always a plus. For a soft effect a beautiful mash-up of fabric strips were patterned together over the window. With a range of patterns, textures along with white and melon colors, this backdrop was exquisite. Feathers were spread throughout the ribbons as well, giving it a sweet finishing touch.

The table was covered with a vintage lace cloth, giving the image elegance that was detailed and lush. Using gorgeous arrangements of light colored flowers, the table had a natural element that went smoothly with the Little Bird theme. Each food was placed with precision that ensured ease of use for every guest as they lined up. With varying levels of trays, the food was excellently displayed and a breeze to access.

All of the dishes used for holding the snacks were a bright white, so the colors of the food really stood out vibrantly. The only dish that was not white was for the birthday girl. In the soft themed color, this tray displayed a single decadent cupcake with two little candles that any little one could love.

The large cake was a tasty centerpiece all by itself with immaculate detailing that was sure to give a lasting memory to the guests. With one giant layer frosted in yummy white, this cake was simple and elegant. It was topped with a lovely setting of melon and white flowers, edible, that made a wonderful finishing touch.

Vanessa Grant Events did a spectacular job creating this Jack & Jill inspired birthday party for Jackie and Will’s 2nd birthday. With a perfect blend of pinks and blues, an elegant and gender friendly venue made a real splash.

Using the windows for a backdrop, natural lighting made the snack table light up with sweet color. Hung right in front of the lovely windows were two fantastically made silhouettes, each representing one of the little ones birthday with an & sign between them.

The snack table was elegantly decorated with a wonderful, layered ruffle white tablecloth that made a bright setting for all the sweet treats arranged on it. The snacks chosen for the party were an arrangement of delicious breakfast type items, one being little cups packed with yummy organic fruits and berries, in the center of each was a melon cut into a little crown as toppers. Each cup was personalized with lovely decorations in gold and polka dots with matching wooden spoons that were embellished with birthday boy and girl’s initial. There were also fantastic muffins that had a fun looking topping, each was wrapped in a paper made bow for a unique and lovely look.

One fun activity set out for all the guests to join in on was a coloring card that everyone could make their own way. Glitter crayons were given for an adorable way to craft their work.

Other adorable touches included a sweet crown filled with pink and blue treats, sugar cookies frosted to look like pails, wells, crowns and more, and even a wonderful tassel banner that stood out beautifully.

The cake set-up was perfection, three different options were made to really emphasize the theme, one for Jill, one for Jack and a center one that was three-layers of elegance. Each of the smaller cakes were placed on the ends of the snack table and had adorable crowns to represent pink and blue perfectly. The three-tiered cake in the center stole the show with a precisely, golden polka-dotted look that was absolutely remarkable. It was surrounded with delicious looking cake-pops with gold glitters.

What better way to celebrate another year of fabulous life than to have a Coco Chanel extravaganza? Oh, Sugar! Events rocked an event that could impress any fan of sophistication and elegance, showcasing a dessert table that was sheer perfection.

The table was placed in such a way as to use the wall of the venue to bring a dramatic accented effect to the look. With black and white as the color base, the wall was bright white with black trim, really standing out while not overtaking the arrangement of decor and snacks in front of it.

The table was covered in a black cloth, and in front of it was a fantastic banner spelling out ‘Chanel No 30’ in circles for a unique look that set the stage perfectly for the party theme.

The set-up on the table was wonderful, adorable wrought-iron mannequins were placed on each side of the back, dressed in cute little touches, like strands of pearls and ribboned hats.  On was set on an elegant box, tied with a black ribbon for a sweet effect.

A tray of delicious cookies was set out, covered in a quilt-patterned frosting and labelled with Coco-Chanel’s logo. It made a sweet treat that doubled as a decoration, reflecting Coco-Chanels token bags. The cupcakes were a vision of tastiness, red velvet wonders covered in adorable flowers that were perfectly placed.

To steal the attention of the whole table the cake was 3 huge tiers of sophistication that stood tall on a fabulous white cake tray. Each layer was decorated in unique fashion, and the entire bit was topped with a fantastic bottle of Chanel No 5. With each detail precisely attended to, this event was sure to be an exquisite celebration to remember.
