Modern Halloween Party

There are many things to love about a good old fashioned Halloween celebration and this one had a wonderful Australian take that was one-of-a-kind. Created by Hipster Mum this party had all sorts of adorable touches that made it stand out from the crowd.

Using fantastic letter shaped mylar balloons, fun phrases were placed around the venue for the guests to enjoy. The snack table featured Spooky spelled out in silver balloons as the backdrop on a stark white concrete wall. The silver letters shone quite nicely, drawing attention.

This table was a wonder with vibrant colors galore. A black and white chevron patterned tablecloth made the perfect base for the scary and fun treats. Along the front of the table a lovely tassel banner was created in orange and pink tones. To the side of the table fantastically large balloons were hung with matching tassels along the bottom that matched the table to perfection.

Some cute touches included home-cooked popcorn in black and white striped containers and oodles of oreos set on a wonderful white tray. The word Boo was spelled out in gold mylar balloons at the front of the table adding a cute spooky look. Instead of using a traditional pumpkin for a jack-o-lantern, Hipster Mum when with an innovative twist, using a pineapple instead. Of course, all sweet treats can cause upset tummies so some yummy healthy snacks were also laid-out to ensure a good range of options for everyone to enjoy. Cups were wonderfully adorned with black and white striped straws that had colorful bats on the top, giving a neat effect.

The unique patterns and colors of the balloon arrangements really set the tone for this Halloween party. One bouquet had a wonderful black and white blended pattern and Boo spelled out on the trail below with a black tassel.
